Blackpool vs Shrewsbury Town - Blackpool manager Neil McDonald set to ring changes against Shrewsbury

Blackpool boss Neil McDonald is expected to make some changes to his team when the Seasiders resume action at home to fellow strugglers Shrewsbury.

Hayden White and Jim McAlister are available again. McAlister is likely to go straight back into midfield but defender White, whose loan deal from Bolton has been extended until the end of the season, may have to settle for a place on the bench after a decent display from Emmerson Boyce in his absence.

Another selection poser for McDonald is when to bring Clark Robertson back into the starting line-up. The Scot has appeared twice as a substitute since suffering a knee injury on January 2 but the form of Will Aimson and Tom Aldred at the heart of the Blackpool defence has been excellent.

The Seasiders, without a game last weekend due to a waterlogged pitch at Oldham, remain without on-loan Liverpool teenager Lloyd Jones (ankle).

Elliot Grandin could make his Shrewsbury debut against his former club.

Grandin, who played for the Tangerines in the Premier League, joined their League One rivals last Saturday on a short-term deal.

He was an unused substitute the following day against Fleetwood but is in contention to start.

James Wallace (knee) and Zak Whitbread (hip) both missed the draw with Fleetwood and will hope to figure.
