Pep Guardiola praised Robert Lewandowski in his pre-match press conference ahead of the German Cup game against Bochum.
"He is the most professional player I have ever met. In his head, he thinks about the right food, sleep and training 24 hours a day. He is always there, never injured, because he focuses on these things. I was always very, very pleased with him, from the first moment", said Guardiola.
Lewandowski is one of the most coveted players in Europe. The top clubs in the Premier League (with Guardiola's future employers, Manchester City, leading the chase), PSG and Real Madrid are all looking to sign the prolific marksman.
With this as a bargaining chip, his agent Cezary Kucharski has sat down to negotiate a contract extension for the Pole at Bayern, although some sources believe that he is asking for the impossible in order to force an exit.
