Kurt Zouma is treated after injuring his knee during Chelsea's game against Manchester United
Guus Hiddink said Chelsea will know more about Kurt Zouma's condition on Monday but thinks his injury is 'bad' after being taken off on a stretcher against Manchester United.
Zouma was carried off with a serious-looking knee injury during the second half of Chelsea's 1-1 draw against Manchester United.
The centre-half's right knee bent backwards on landing after an aerial challenge in the 55th minute of the Super Sunday meeting at Stamford Bridge.
The 21-year-old was in obvious pain as he was treated on the pitch by the Chelsea medical staff, who strapped up the joint before he was carried down the tunnel.
Hiddink has started Zouma in every game since returning to the club as interim manager in December and said the club will know more after an MRI scan.
"Tomorrow [Monday] we will know more," Hiddink said of Zouma's injury.
"But if you have this injury then it's bad. Let's see. It's a hyper extension and that's always bad. I had the same problem once and it hurts a lot. We will see tomorrow."
