Posted Sunday, February 07, 2016 by PA

Jamie Longworth scored his fifth goal of the season as 10-man Stranraer held Forfar to a 1-1 draw.

Stranraer took the lead 10 minutes before the break when Longworth turned the ball past Forfar goalkeeper Darren Hill from the middle of the area.

The visitors had opportunities to extend their advantage but it was the Sky Blues who scored next, with Andy Ryan firing in from the left side of the box to level things up in the 54th minute.

Stranraer were reduced to 10 men in the 75th minute when Scott Rumsby was shown a red card for fouling Gavin Swankie, but Brian Reid's men held on to earn a share of the spoils.
