Wycombe Wanderers vs Luton Town - Goalkeeper Ryan Allsop set for Wycombe bow

Posted Friday, February 05, 2016 by PA

Ryan Allsop will be handed the task of solving Wycombe's goalkeeping crisis in the League Two clash with Luton.

The Bournemouth stopper has signed on loan to cover for Alex Lynch, whose injury after 15 minutes in the 1-0 win at Plymouth pressed 46-year-old goalkeeping coach Barry Richardson into action for his first Football League appearance since 2005.

Left-sided midfielder Sam Wood missed that game through injury and will be assessed.

Versatile defender Jason McCarthy has extended his loan from Southampton for the season but Jermaine Udumaga has returned to Brentford.

Ryan Hall remains an absentee for Nathan Jones' side.

Hall has been suffering with a foot problem but is the closest to returning out of the Hatters' injured contingent.

Nathan Doyle (knee), Danny Green (ankle ligament damage) and Josh McQuoid (knee) remain long-term injury absentees.

Jones could keep the same squad who were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Yeovil on Tuesday.
