Reading vs Wolves - George Evans rated 50/50 for Wolves clash

Posted Friday, February 05, 2016 by PA

Reading will check on the fitness of George Evans ahead of the visit of Wolves.

Evans, a January signing from Manchester City, is rated 50/50 for the match due to a calf problem.

Fellow midfielder Aaron Tshibola is the only definite absentee due to a hamstring injury which will keep him out for a few weeks.

New Latvian striker Deniss Rakels is available after his international clearance came through this week, although he may be lacking match fitness.

Wolves striker Joe Mason will hope he has done enough to earn another start after a debut goal against Bolton.

The 24-year-old, signed from Cardiff for B£3million last month, scored inside three minutes on Tuesday.

Midfielder Tommy Rowe, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Scunthorpe, could get another chance after a surprise appearance against Bolton.

The game could come too soon for another new signing, defender Mike Williamson, who is still trying to shake off a hamstring injury.
