QPR can add Abdenasser El Khayati to their squad for the visit of Ipswich.

Boss Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaink raided his former club Burton to land the Dutch striker on transfer deadline day.

El Khayati could take Leroy Fer's place in the squad after the midfielder completed his loan move to Barclays Premier League outfit Swansea.

Teenage defender Cole Kpekawa is also available after returning to Loftus Road following a loan spell at Leyton Orient.

Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy hopes Daryl Murphy, Ryan Fraser and Luke Hyam will shake off knocks in time for the trip.

Irish forward Murphy (foot), on-loan Bournemouth winger Fraser (hamstring) and academy graduate Hyam (calf) are all expected to be available for selection.

McCarthy will be without Jonathan Douglas once again, with the midfielder serving the second game of a three-match ban.

Striker Brett Pitman is vying for a place in the starting line-up after he came off the bench to score the winner in the closing stages of Tuesday's 2-1 victory over Reading.
