Derby County vs Preston North End - Rams look to get back on track against Preston

Derby head coach Paul Clement could hand Markus Olsson his debut against Preston as he looks to get the Rams' Sky Bet Championship promotion challenge back on track.

Olsson was an unused substitute for the FA Cup defeat to Manchester United after arriving from Blackburn. The Sweden international will put Stephen Warnock's place under threat.

Five league games without a win have seen Derby fall from first in the table to fifth and Clement could make changes to his team, with Craig Bryson, Jeff Hendrick, Johnny Russell, Chris Baird and Abdoul Camara, along with Olsson, vying for starting roles.

Will Hughes continues to make good progress following a serious knee injury but no date has been set for the midfielder's return.

Preston boss Simon Grayson is expected to give goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard his debut.

Lindegaard joined the club last week on loan from West Brom and the Denmark international could replace Sam Johnstone, his former Manchester United team-mate, between the posts.

Another former Old Trafford player, midfielder Liam Grimshaw, may have to wait for his first appearance for Preston after undergoing a knee operation.

Grayson has captain Tom Clarke (groin) back after injury but Jermaine Beckford (knee) remains out, despite having recently resumed training. No timescale has been put on a return date for the striker.
