West Brom boss Tony Pulis must do without Callum McManaman for between four to six weeks after the winger sustained an ankle ligament injury.

McManaman adds to Pulis problems

The 24-year-old suffered the blow in training this week as the Baggies prepared for their FA Cup fourth-round clash at home to Peterborough on Saturday.

Pulis has been left short of options in midfield after losing James Morrison to a ruptured hamstring in the 2-2 draw against Chelsea just over a fortnight ago.

He also revealed in the pre-match press conference that Albion skipper Darren Fletcher (knee) and vice-captain Chris Brunt (calf) are both doubtful for the visit of Posh.

But the 58-year-old coach has no intention of fielding a weakened team against the League One outfit, despite having to face Swansea and Newcastle next week in the space of just a few days.

"It's a three-game week but I have made my feelings about this competition very clear - I will be fielding a strong team to win the game," Pulis declared.
