Luton Town vs Notts County - Green and McQuoid to miss out for Luton

Posted Friday, January 29, 2016 by PA

Luton will be without Danny Green and Josh McQuoid when they face Notts County in Sky Bet League Two.

Green is out of action with ankle ligament damage sustained against Cambridge earlier in the month and McQuoid underwent a knee operation this week so will be out of action for at least a month.

Hatters manager Nathan Jones could have goalkeeper Mark Tyler (back spasm) and winger Ryan Hall (foot) back in contention but they are going to make a last minute decision on the pair.

Luton are unbeaten in two games in the league as they welcome a County side who have just one point less.

Stanley Aborah remains a concern for Notts County after sustaining a knee injury in training.

Aborah missed last weekend's home defeat to AFC Wimbledon and is still struggling with the problem. He will be given as long as possible to prove his fitness.

Fellow midfielder Liam Noble is back in contention for a starting place after making his comeback from a four-match suspension as a second-half substitute against the Dons.

Winger Will Hayhurst has cruciate knee ligament damage and is unlikely to play again this season.
