Morecambe vs Newport County - Morecambe take on Newport without Jack Kelleher

Morecambe will be without striker Jack Kelleher for the visit of Newport in the Sky Bet League Two game on Saturday.

Kelleher has joined Evo-Stik Premier Division side Colwyn Bay on a youth loan until the end of February.

Morecambe manager Jim Bentley has no fresh injury worries but Aaron Wildig is pushing for a start after overcoming a hamstring injury.

Aaron McGowan remains on the sidelines with a long-term hamstring problem.

Newport goalkeeper Joe Day serves the final match of a three-game ban following his FA Cup red card against Blackburn.

So Mitchell Beeney, on loan from Chelsea, continues to deputise behind a defence definitely without hamstring victim Janoi Donacien.

Matt Partridge (calf) also looks set to miss out and Darren Jones and Andrew Hughes will continue in central defence after linking up in the midweek defeat at Leyton Orient.

Yan Klukowski picked up a knock at Orient and Connor Dymond could return to the starting XI, while striker John-Christophe Ayina is pushing for a start after impressing off the bench in his first two appearances.
