Shrewsbury Town vs Sheffield Wed. - Ogogo set for early Shrews return

Abu Ogogo could return for Shrewsbury's FA Cup clash with Sheffield Wednesday ahead of schedule after resuming training.

The midfielder has been out for three games since limping off during the 7-1 defeat at Chesterfield with a hamstring injury.

Fellow midfielder Ritchie Wellens is cup-tied after playing in the competition for Doncaster earlier in the season.

Jermaine Grandison could be fit after missing Tuesday's 1-0 home defeat to Oldham with a knee injury.

Wednesday could be boosted by the return to contention of Michael Turner, Lewis McGugan and Alex Lopez.

Defender Turner has been sidelined since mid-December due to a knee problem, McGugan has not featured since Boxing Day due to an unspecified injury and fellow midfielder Lopez has been out with a torn thigh muscle.

Centre-half Tom Lees is still out but is closing in on his return from a long-term hamstring injury and goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith (back) remains sidelined.

Recent loan signing Joe Bennett is hoping to make his first appearance after he was an unused substitute in last week's draw at Reading following his arrival from Aston Villa.
