Bradford AFC vs Fleetwood Town - Hamstring injury sidelines Bradford striker Billy Clarke

Posted Friday, January 29, 2016 by PA

Bradford striker Billy Clarke has been ruled out of the home game against Fleetwood due to a hamstring injury.

Clarke was forced out of the midweek home defeat to Barnsley and is expected to be sidelined for around two weeks.

On-loan West Ham defender Reece Burke is a major doubt after sustaining an Achilles injury on Tuesday night, while full-backs Stephen Darby and James Meredith will be assessed after picking up knocks in the same match.

Midfielder Lee Evans sits out the second game of a three-match ban, while striker James Hanson could return. He was back on the bench in midweek following a thigh problem.

Fleetwood's new signings Alex Kiwomya and Devante Cole could both make their full debuts.

Kiwomya, on a month's loan from Chelsea, and fellow striker Cole, signed for an undisclosed fee from Bradford, have both played as substitutes but missed out after the cancellation of the Walsall because of the waterlogged pitch.

Everton loanee David Henen has been building his sharpness after returning from a four-week lay-off due to an ankle injury and is hoping to start again.

Manager Steven Pressley has no major new injury concerns, though David Ball is still working his way back from a hamstring injury.
