Bradford AFC 0 - 1 Barnsley: Marley Watkins' early strike sees Barnsley edge out Bradford at Valley Parade

Barnsley stretched their winning run in Sky Bet League One to five games as they beat Yorkshire rivals Bradford 1-0 at Valley Parade.
Marley Watkins gave Barnsley a dream start in the second minute, pouncing on George Williams' perfectly-weighted cross to head past Bradford goalkeeper Ben Williams.
Watkins, who was also on target in the 6-1 rout over Rochdale at the weekend, then weaved his way into the box and curled a brilliant effort just wide four minutes later.
Josh Morris saw a fizzed drive from the edge of the box deflected wide in the 26th minute and that was the closest the hosts came to finding an equaliser before half time.
Jamie Proctor missed an open goal from distance around the hour mark after a sloppy clearance from Adam Davies, who was stranded in no man's land at right back as the tame shot sailed harmlessly wide.
Sam Winnall had an empty net to aim at with 15 minutes remaining to put the result beyond doubt but Tony McMahon flung himself in the way to deny him.
