Lewandowski unfazed by Higuain rumours

Bayern München striker Robert Lewandowski is confident he will remain in the first team even if the Bavarians sign another striker in January.
Club chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge sparked a flurry of transfer rumours last week when he admitted Bayern had made enquiries about Argentine hitman Gonzalo Higuain, before adding that Napoli did not want to sell.
However, Lewandowski - who has been in red-hot form for Bayern this season, scoring 25 goals in 25 games in all competitions - said he would have no problem if the club was to add another forward to the squad.
"I don't know what Bayern's plans for the future look like, but it would not be a problem for me if they signed another striker, regardless of whether that's Higuain or someone else," Lewandowski told Sport Bild.
"I will still be playing if another striker arrives. I'm convinced of my own qualities. I am strong enough.
"I am prepared to play 60 games a season and we have other top players in our attack. I do not need competition in order to train even harder.
"There is no area of my game which is perfect," he added. "I can still improve on my shooting, for example."
