Burton Albion FC 1 - 2 Shrewsbury Town: Micky Mellon staying grounded despite Shrewsbury win over Burton

Micky Mellon sounded a note of caution despite a shock 2-1 win that lifted Shrewsbury out of the relegation zone and knocked Burton off the top of the League One table.
After a Shaun Whalley's smash-and-grab winner deep into added time, Town's boss said: "It's a fantastic result and I obviously feel delighted with the victory.
"But I still feel the same as I did after losing last week - and that means there's still a lot of work to be done if we're going to get ourselves out of trouble."
Full-back Damien McCrory gave Burton the lead with a 20-yard left-foot screamer into the bottom corner in the 18th minute.
The visitors levelled against the run of play through Andy Mangan's scrambled goal in the 52nd minute, with Burton keeper Jon McLaughlin complaining he had been pushed.
And Shrewsbury survived heavy late Burton pressure to snatch all three points when substitute Whalley streaked away to slot the winner in the 93rd minute.
Mellon said: "We certainly showed the qualities that you need when you come to a team that's riding high.
"We stiffened things up and we went with a shape that gave us the best chance of winning a game of football.
"I thought there were very fine margins between the teams in the first half and we were disappointed to go in a goal down.
"But we rallied and kept battling away to get the equaliser - and then Shaun showed his pace at the end to get us the winner.
"We've got pace in our side and we always thought we might have a chance to catch them on the break."
Burton's Nigel Clough thought his side did enough to extend their unbeaten run to six games since his return as manager.
He said: "It was a frustrating afternoon for us. We didn't play brilliantly but we did enough to get something out of the game.
"Having taken the lead, I think we thought we would just go on and win the game but it doesn't happen like that.
"That's why we said beforehand that this was a dodgy one and that we could slip-up very easily if we weren't careful.
"Shrewsbury came scrapping and battling with a lot of experience in their side, although we were disappointed with the equaliser because we thought there was a foul on our goalkeeper.
"We started well and created chances and even at 1-1 we had a great chance to go back in front, but things didn't quite come off for us.
"I think the naivety of the goal in the 93rd minute was the biggest concern because we conceded 20 seconds after our own throw-in, which was very poor on our part."
