Raith Rovers 0 - 0 Dumbarton: Raith's frustrated at home by Dumbarton

Raith halted a three-match losing streak as they played out a goalless draw against Dumbarton in the Championship match at Stark's Park.

The home side began to dominate midway through the first half and were unfortunate not to take the lead after a couple of chances from Mark Stewart and James Craigen.

Gregor Buchanan headed wide and Jamie Lindsay's shot was off target at the other end as the visitors responded.

Summer signing Kevin Cawley came closest to breaking the deadlock on the brink of half-time but he saw his shot drift past the left post from inside the area.

Raith came out strongest after the break with both Ross Callachan and Louis Longridge shooting into the stands early on, while Kevin Cuthbert blocked a Cawley effort as the Sons searched for an opener before settling for a point.
