Cesc Fabregas was brought back to the Premier League by then-Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho
Chelsea have sacked a club steward after video emerged of him calling former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas "a snake".
Video footage of the incident involving the club steward at Stamford Bridge, which took place earlier this season, emerged online on Friday.
Later the same day, the club confirmed it had taken action against the steward.
"You're a snake, you're Arsenal," the steward says in the video, which has been widely shared on social network sites.
Fabregas returns to the Emirates with Chelsea to play against his former club in the Premier League on Sunday, with the Gunners top of the league and the Blues languishing in 14th place, just four points above the relegation zone.
The Spain midfielder played 503 times for Arsenal before leaving in 2011 to rejoin his boyhood club Barcelona.
Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho brought him back to the Premier League when Fabregas signed for the Blues in June 2014, helping them to win the title last season.
