Walsall vs Blackpool - Jason Demetriou is Walsall worry

Walsall full-back Jason Demetriou is a doubt for Saturday's League One clash with Blackpool.

The 28-year-old is suffering from an ongoing knee problem and will be assessed before the game.

Midfielder Isaiah Osbourne is still sidelined by the knee injury that has prevented him from making his debut following his summer move.

Walsall head into the match in second place in the table after getting back to winning ways against Bury last weekend.

Blackpool could hand a debut to Uche Ikpeazu following his loan arrival from Watford this week.

Ikpeazu, who was with Port Vale earlier in the term, agreed a move to Bloomfield Road on Thursday that will see him remain with the Seasiders until the end of the campaign.

Defender Lloyd Jones (ankle) is not far away from recovering and could be in action next month, while Mark Cullen (hamstring) should be available this weekend after returning to training.

Martin Paterson (calf) is struggling, Henry Cameron (knee) is out and Jose Miguel Cubero's move back to his native Costa Rica was confirmed this week.
