Oldham Athletic AFC vs Bury - Oldham without suspended full-back Connor Brown against Bury

Posted Friday, January 22, 2016 by PA

Oldham will be without full-back Connor Brown for the League One derby against Bury through suspension.

The Latics were unsuccessful in their appeal against the red card shown to Brown in the defeat by Bradford last weekend and he must now serve a three-match ban.

Striker Ricardo Fuller has been released while right-back Cameron Dummigan suffered a calf injury against Bradford and is a doubt.

New Oldham boss John Sheridan will hope it is 13th time lucky as he looks to end an unwanted club record run of league matches without a win.

John O'Sullivan will come back into the Bury squad for the trip.

The on-loan Blackburn midfielder was cup-tied for the midweek replay with Bradford as he had already played in the competition for Rochdale against the Shakers.

Boss David Flitcroft is exercising caution with Danny Rose (back) and Craig Jones (concussion) after the pair missed out on Tuesday while Nathan Cameron was sent off and will therefore serve a suspension.

Manchester City loanee Ian Lawlor will continue in goal as Rob Lainton (groin) and Jack Ruddy (hand) are still sidelined.
