Liverpool fans want club to sign Stoke star Jack Butland

Liverpool fans have pleaded with their club owner to move for Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland as an upgrade to current maligned number one Simon Mignolet.
Mignolet has been far from convincing in the last 18 months of his Anfield career and has cost his side on numerous occasions already this season.
But would the Reds' board consider making a move in January? And is Butland - a reported a target - a viable alternative?
His display against Arsenal in Sunday's 0-0 draw at the Britannia Stadium would certainly seem to suggest the latter - and Liverpool fans were left eulogising about his heroics...
