Getafe continued their excellent run of form by beating Espanyol 3-1 at home to record a third successive Primera Division victory.
Hernan Perez gave the visitors the lead midway through the first half but Pedro Leon struck just three minutes later to level.
Pablo Sarabia put Getafe ahead before the break, while Moi Gomez added another with virtually the last kick of the game.
The Madrid side move above Valencia and up to 10th in the Primera Division and have now gone six league games without defeat, while Espanyol remain 14th.
The away side got off to a good start thanks to Paraguayan forward Perez's headed goal, but Leon equalised just moments later, controlling the ball after Victor Rodriguez had hit the crossbar and beating a defender before striking past Pau Lopez.
Sarabia put the hosts in front nine minutes before half-time by tapping in Damian Suarez's cross.
Felipe Caicedo missed a clear chance to level before the break and Salva Sevilla hit the post for Espanyol in the second half, but Getafe remained on top, and Gomez wrapped up the points in injury time, turning in Sarabia's cross from close range.
