Millwall vs Port Vale - John Marquis in contention for Millwall against Port Vale
Posted Saturday, January 16, 2016 by PA
Millwall striker John Marquis may be in contention to face Port Vale on Sunday after he was recalled from his loan spell at Leyton Orient.
The 23-year-old's loan came to an end on January 9 and will be available for selection.
Millwall lost 2-0 in the first leg of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy southern section final on Thursday night but manager Neil Harris refused to comment on whether he would change his side for the game against Vale.
The Lions boss has no new injury worries but right-back Carlos Edwards (hamstring) and captain Tony Craig (knee and hamstring) remain unavailable.
Port Vale may be looking forward to some action after their home clash with Swindon was postponed for a second time in midweek.
That match, originally scheduled for January 2, fell victim to a waterlogged pitch at Vale Park and the Valiants have still only played once in 2016.
Vale could have defender Ryan Inniss back in contention for the first time since September following his recovery from shoulder surgery.
Midfielder Anthony Grant is also available again following a two-match suspension.
