Torino 4 - 2 Frosinone: Andrea Belotti double helps Torino to victory

Posted Sunday, January 17, 2016 by PA

Torino won for the first time in 2016 as they saw off struggling Frosinone 4-2 at the Stadio Olimpico.

The home side went into an early lead through Ciro Immobile's penalty but Frosinone equalised through Paolo Sammarco's strong header.

A brace from 22-year-old striker Andrea Belotti, who had scored only one goal this season before the game, helped the home side go into half-time with a 3-1 lead.

Frosinone were given a lifeline when Torino defender Danilo Avelar put the ball in his own net but only eight minutes later Torino regained their two-goal advantage as Marco Benassi scored the last in a lively game.
