St. Mirren vs Raith Rovers - Rocco ready to roll as Saints chase first home league win of season

St Mirren will include new signing Rocco Quinn in their squad for the home game against Raith.

Midfielder Quinn has arrived from Ross County and the midfielder is expected to feature as Alex Rae's side look to secure their first home league win of the season.

Alan Gow is set to return after an ankle injury, but Jim Goodwin's ankle problem keeps him out and Jason Naismith is still sidelined with a knee issue.

Rae said: "I watched Raith on Tuesday night and I thought they were unlucky to lose to Alloa.

"They will be disappointed and looking to bounce back and so are we after losing to Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup last weekend."

The Kirkcaldy side have Grant Anderson available after suspension with Mark Stewart set to return to the starting line-up after illness.

Manager Ray McKinnon is still without the injured Lewis Toshney (hamstring), Craig Barr (groin), Jason Thomson (back) and Lewis Vaughan (knee) as his side bid to end a three-game losing run.

McKinnon said: "We are frustrated with how results have gone recently, however we have to take them on the chin and move on.

"We have had a good amount of chances but we did not have a striker available to us against Alloa to convert them.

"Hopefully having Grant and Mark available will help turn things around."
