Nottingham Forest vs Bolton Wanderers - David Vaughan suspended for Nottingham Forest's home clash with Bolton

David Vaughan is suspended for Nottingham Forest's home Sky Bet Championship game against Bolton.

Vaughan was shown a straight red card for a high challenge on Birmingham striker Clayton Donaldson in midweek. The club appealed against the decision but were unsuccessful and the midfielder will now serve a three-match ban.

With Henri Lansbury likely to miss the rest of the season with the ankle injury he sustained recently against QPR, Gary Gardner could return to the starting line up.

Reds boss Dougie Freedman, against his former club, could otherwise send out an unchanged team as he looks to extend Forest's unbeaten run to 11 matches in all competitions.

Mark Davies is available for Bolton, even though manager Neil Lennon has not seen him for a week.

The midfielder's move to Sheffield Wednesday has fallen through after the Owls pulled the plug on the proposed move and Davies was back at training with Wanderers on Thursday.

Zach Clough's B£2million transfer to Bristol City also collapsed this week, although he will not feature on Saturday because of a hip niggle that is expected to force him to miss Tuesday's FA Cup replay with Eastleigh too.

Emile Heskey (calf) will be back in the squad though, although Max Clayton (hamstring) remains a long-term absentee.
