Plymouth Argyle vs Stevenage Borough - Jordon Foster poised for Plymouth bow
Posted Friday, January 15, 2016 by PA
Jordon Forster could make his debut for Plymouth against Stevenage after heading to Home Park on loan from Hibernian earlier this week.
The 22-year-old, who can provide defensive cover across any position in the back four, will remain with high-flying Argyle until the end of the season as they look to push for promotion from Sky Bet League Two.
But Saturday's clash comes too soon for midfield playmaker Graham Carey (knee), who is set to return to full training next week.
Plymouth will be looking to get back on song quickly after seeing a four-match winning streak end with a defeat to promotion-chasing rivals Northampton last week.
Connor Ogilvie will be available for Stevenage after extending his loan contract from Tottenham to stay with the side for an extra month.
The 19-year-old defender has so far made 15 appearances since joining Teddy Sheringham's side in August and Boro will be hoping he can help them turn their form around as they have not won in five games.
Stevenage are 19th in League Two and 19-year-old Ben Kennedy has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury in training.
The injury is another blow for Sheringham with Jerome Okimo, Steven Schumacher and Dave McAllister (all knee), Dean Wells (ankle) , Dean Parrett (muscle) and Chris Whelpdale (groin strain) already unavailable.
