Wolves vs Fulham - Striker Bjorn Sigurdarson sidelined for Wolves

Posted Monday, January 11, 2016 by PA

Bjorn Sigurdarson is out of Wolves' clash with Fulham after the striker suffered an ankle injury in the 1-0 defeat at West Ham.

The forward needed several minutes of treatment during the FA Cup clash but scans have revealed the injury is not as bad as first feared, although he is definitely out against the Cottagers and for Saturday's visit of Cardiff.

New signing Michal Zyro is expected to be fit after coming off against the Hammers on Saturday with cramp.

Kortney Hause remains sidelined with a hamstring injury but Emi Martinez is fit, although Carl Ikeme could continue in goal.

Fulham will be without striker Cauley Woodrow due to a fractured metatarsal.

The England Under-21 international suffered the injury during Saturday's FA Cup defeat at Sheffield Wednesday and faces up to three months on the sidelines.

Boss Slavisa Jokanovic made five changes for the Hillsborough clash so Richard Stearman, Tim Ream, Emerson Hyndman, Sakari Mattila and Moussa Dembele could all return.

Goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli (knee) and midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe (hamstring) are still absent.
