Luis Enrique will not attend the Ballon d'Or ceremony which will be held in Zurich on Monday, in which he is contention for the best coach of the year award. The manager did not give any explanation for his decision, simply stating: "I'm not going to the Ballon d'Or ceremony."
On the game against Granada and Aleix Vidal's and Arda Turan's league debuts: "We're starting to have more options. Maybe that's worse for the players, because they'll play less, but it's better for the manager because I have more solutions. The key is to reach the end of the season in the best possible shape."
On Aleix Vidal: "He's been on good form. He's really fit, but he's lacking that match fitness because he's been on the sidelines for such a long time. But he injects a lot of freshness and dynamism, so we're really happy."
On Arda Turan: "We'll see him adapting to the system more and more as the games go by. We're still haven't seen him run at players - he does it all the time, and he uses his body to go past them. He doesn't give the ball away and he sets up goalscoring chances. He gives us something different."
On Sergi Roberto, who played in the holding midfield role: "I like him because he has great judgement when he's playing. He has the ability to pierce the lines and tracks back well. It could be the ideal position for him in the future, but there's a lot of competition for that spot. He'll be a key player in the seasons to come."
