Nottingham Forest vs Queens Park Rangers - Dougie Freedman ponders changes ahead of QPR visit

Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman will make some changes for the FA Cup visit of QPR after a run of three games without a win.

Freedman does not have many injury concerns and with Tuesday's league clash at home to Birmingham in mind, he will take the opportunity to rest players.

The likes of Chris Cohen, Jamie Ward, Dexter Blackstock, Chris O'Grady and Robert Tesche are all vying for recalls, while potential new signing Bojan Jokic is unlikely to be available as he awaits international clearance.

Freedman remains without Andy Reid (groin), Britt Assombalonga (knee), Daniel Pinillos (knee) and Matty Fryatt (Achilles).

Ben Gladwin has been added to the Rangers squad after he was recalled from a loan spell at Swindon.

Boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has confirmed that the midfielder, who rejoined his former club in October, will be involved at the City Ground.

Striker Charlie Austin remains doubtful with a hamstring injury and defender James Perch has a knee problem.

Winger Jamie Mackie made a welcome return as a late substitute against Hull last Friday following three months out with a hamstring injury and should be involved against his former club.
