Pep Guardiola is set to try and lure Lionel Messi to Manchester City this summer, according to the Daily Express.

The Bayern Munich coach has admitted he is set to move to the Premier League at the end of the current season, with City almost certain to be his next destination.

And the former Barcelona boss will - along with the club - pull out all the stops to convince Messi to join him at the Etihad Stadium as they look to sign marquee players to match the manager's profile.
