Empoli vs Inter Milan - Roberto Mancini: Inter won't sell Marcelo Brozovic

Roberto Mancini has ruled out the prospect of Inter Milan selling Marcelo Brozovic during the winter transfer window.
Mancini, whose side on Wednesday play at Empoli in the first match since Serie A's winter break, says midfielder Brozovic is going nowhere, despite reported interest from Arsenal, among others.
"If Marcelo keeps a level head then he can become one of the best players around," Mancini said on inter.it.
"We have no intention of selling him, not even for a massive offer."
Mancini also wants Argentina striker Rodrigo Palacio and Japan defender Yuto Nagatomo to stay with the Nerazzurri, after goalkeeper Samir Handanovic extended his contract until 2019.
"Palacio and Nagatomo are both fantastic professionals," Mancini added.
"If it were down to me I would extend their contracts. All of the players have given 100 per cent when they have played."
Mancini appeared to downplay the prospect of recruitment by the Serie A leaders this month.
He added: "At the start of the season we thought Juventus, Roma, Napoli and Fiorentina had more than us, but on the pitch things have gone differently and we hope that continues. To improve a team you need to spend money and with FFP (Financial Fair Play) I don't think that's an option."
Inter lost to Lazio prior to the winter break, while Empoli won four successive games.
Mancini added: "We'll need to be perfect because Empoli are a very good side in great form. Marco Giampaolo is doing a fantastic job there."
Giampaolo wants his Empoli side's run to continue.
"You have to pick up where you left," he said.
"This is a good test, after the performances we had.
"We face the most cynical and physical team in the league and we have to have confidence in the collective, to know that we, too, are strong individually.
"I always ask for a performance then that can also get a positive result."
