WANTED: Manchester United are interested in James Rodriguez
Manchester United are looking to record a sensational double deal worth a mammoth £117.8m.
According to The Sun, Louis van Gaal is desperate to sign Benfica whizkid Renato Sanches in January.
The Portuguese midfielder is enjoying a profitable season with the club, netting twice in eight league appearances.
Sanches, 18, won't come cheap and has an astronomical £58.8m release clause in his contract, claim the Express.
The Red Devils may record a second significant signing after Spanish publication Don Balon revealed James Rodriguez could be flogged to Old Trafford.
It's believed the Colombian is unhappy with life at the Bernabeu and could be sold to generate extra funds.
Spanish website Fichajes claim United could part with £59m to secure his services - a fee that would represent a £4m loss for the Spanish giants.
Elsewhere Liverpool look likely to beat Manchester United to the signing of Polish stopper Kamil Grabara.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Grabara will travel to Merseyside later this week to discuss a deal and potentially undergo a medical.
VALUE: Renato Sanches is worth a reported £58.8m
Club president Dariusz Smagorowicz said: "Grabara has been with us for 12 years."
"A few months ago we signed a contract with him to keep him until 2018, and now Liverpool want to have him."
