Walsall vs Rochdale - Tom Bradshaw closing in on Walsall return
Posted Thursday, December 31, 2015 by PA
Tom Bradshaw could return for Walsall after missing a month with an ankle injury.
The 12-goal striker has sat out the last five games for the Sky Bet League One leaders after limping off against Shrewsbury.
Rico Henry is available again after the left-back was an unused substitute in Monday's 2-0 win over Peterborough following his own ankle problem.
Isaiah Osbourne is closing in on a return following a knee injury he suffered in the summer.
Rochdale manager Keith Hill is likely to call upon Josh Lillis after Joel Pereira was recalled by Manchester United.
The on-loan goalkeeper had made eight appearances for Dale, including in the 1-1 draw with Scunthorpe on Monday, but has had his stay at Spotland cut short.
That leaves Lillis, who last appeared in mid-November, as the man most likely to step in for Hill's men.
John O'Sullivan remains suspended for the trip to Walsall, serving the final game of a three-match ban, while Joe Rafferty and Jamie Allen are still doubts after struggling for fitness.
