Crewe Alexandra vs Coventry - Crewe duo pushing to start against Coventry
Posted Thursday, December 31, 2015 by PA
Fit-again goalkeeper David Richards and Brad Inman are pushing for starts as Crewe host promotion contenders Coventry at Gresty Road.
Richards returned to the bench for the 2-1 Shrewsbury defeat on Monday while Inman made his third successive substitute appearance.
There are no new injury worries for Steve Davis' side, who had Boxing Day off after their fixture at Rochdale was postponed.
The Railwaymen look to end their four-game winless run as they lie second from bottom in the Sky Bet League 1 table.
Coventry boss Tony Mowbray will watch from the stands after accepting a Football Association misconduct charge.
Mowbray was sent to the stands during Monday's 1-1 draw at Chesterfield following a confrontation with referee Paul Tierney.
He is likely to be without Aaron Willis (knee) while Reda Johnson remains sidelined with his long-term hamstring injury.
Newcastle loanee Adam Armstrong could return to the starting line up after Mowbray named him on the bench at Chesterfield.
