Cambridge United vs AFC Wimbledon - No Jordan Chiedozie for Cambridge ahead of Wimbledon fixture

Striker Jordan Chiedozie will not be available for Cambridge for their first Sky Bet League Two game of 2016 as the face Wimbledon at home on Saturday.

The 21-year-old had his contract cancelled earlier in the week by mutual consent having not featured since manager Shaun Derry took over in November.

The U's have won five out of their last six League games including their 2-1 victory over Barnet on Monday but Ryan Donaldson (ankle), Cameron Gayle (hamstring) and Greg Taylor (leg) remain out of the squad.

Midfielder Harrison Dunk believes consistency is what they need to continue their run of good form, saying: "We are on a good run now and we obviously want to keep that going for as long as possible. We want to start 2016 in the same form."

Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley has no new injury worries as they travel to Cambridge on Saturday.

Ardley is expected to make some changes to his starting line-up after stating there were "tired legs" and "people bruised" when speaking to the press after their game on Monday.

The Dons currently sit 12th in the Sky Bet League Two table having won their first game in eight matches when they beat Exeter 2-0.

Adebayo Akinfenwa will be looking for a return to the starting XI after being dropped to the bench against Exeter with Tom Elliott coming in.
