Northampton vs Barnet - Northampton boss Chris Wilder could ring changes for Barnet test

Northampton boss Chris Wilder could make changes to his side for the Sky Bet League Two clash with Barnet after an indifferent performance against Accrington.

The Cobblers beat Stanley 1-0 but Wilder was not impressed by the display.

Winger Ricky Holmes is pushing for a start after setting up the winner for Marc Richards in that game and Sam Hoskins could also come into contention for a start.

Wilder told the Northampton Chronicle: "I don't think I can be knee-jerk about it but I have said to the players that I can't lose my integrity with the Jason Taylors, the Sam Hoskins, the Dominics and the Rickys and the other players who aren't getting a game."

Martin Allen is unlikely to make many changes to his Barnet team following their recent improved performances.

Luke Gamblin missed out on Monday's defeat at Cambridge because of illness, so Allen hopes to again have him available.

On-loan Josh Clarke has returned to parent club Brentford for treatment and is expected to miss out.

Beyond him, goalkeeper Graham Stack and defender Michael Nelson remain long-term absentees.
