Mansfield Town vs Accrington Stanley - Nicky Hunt and Mal Benning still missing for Mansfield

Mansfield captain Nicky Hunt and Mal Benning will resume full training in the next month as Mansfield look to extend their unbeaten league streak to five games against play-off hopefuls Accrington.

After their draw at home to York on Monday, Stags manager Adam Murray told the club's website that the defensive duo would return to the squad in late January, with Blair Adams continuing to deputise for Benning at left-back.

He said: "Hopefully over the next month, if everything goes to plan, we're going to have two full-backs back which have been a loss for us. Blair's (Adams) been out of this world, one of our best players."

Centre-back Ryan Tafazolli dropped to the bench for that game and remains a doubt after picking up a knock in their draw to Cambridge.

Accrington boss John Coleman could name an unchanged side for the second successive game, despite their 1-0 defeat at Northampton.

Anthony Barry, Andy Proctor, Terry Gornell and Liam Wakefield are all pushing for starts, though, while Dean Winnard remains sidelined as he recovers from an ankle injury.
