Alexis Sanchez urges Arsenal to sign former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez - report

Alexis Sanchez has urged Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to sign Javier Hernandez in the January transfer window, according to Don Balon.
Hernandez joined Bayer Leverkusen this summer after being deemed surplus to requirements at Manchester United by Louis van Gaal.
The Mexican has flourished since moving to Germany, scoring 22 goals in 21 appearances in all competitions for club and country this term.
Sanchez, who is currently injured, has been impressed by Hernandez and wants Arsenal to sign him in January.
Hernandez was a fans’ favourite at United prior to his departure and it would come as a bitter blow if he joined and did well at Arsenal.
The potential move would compound the misery supporters have felt over Hernandez as he continues to score goals for Bayer while United struggle in front of goal. The hope is that Louis van Gaal has one or two targets of his own lined up as United are in desperate need of some attacking impetus.
