Bayern Munich midfielder tempted by Sassuolo
With minutes hard to come by at the Bavarian giants, Gianluca Gaudino could trade in the Bundesliga for Serie A in January

A move to Sassuolo might be in the cards for Bayern Munich’s Gianluca Gaudino as he hasn’t been able to force his way into Pep Guardiola’s starting XI this season.
Though the promising Bayern youth academy product earned eight appearances with Pep Guardiola’s team last season, he’s yet to play a single minute of the current term.
Bayern’s abundance of talent – particularly in the midfield area – has made it difficult for the youngster to breakthrough, a problem which has forced the 19-year-old to consider his options.
The German is therefore keen on finding first team opportunities elsewhere. His Italian heritage on his father’s side might make Serie A an appealing destination, and it appears as though Sassuolo are interested in landing his services in January.
It is thought that the Neroverdi would be willing to give Guardino the minutes he desires as the club attempts to ascend back into European contention in the second half of the season.
