Newport County vs Plymouth Argyle - Newport midfielder Medy Elito suspended for tough Plymouth test

Newport midfielder Medy Elito faces suspension for the Welsh side's Sky Bet League Two clash with leaders Plymouth on Monday.
Elito was controversially sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Barnet, a decision branded by manager John Sheridan as "diabolical".
Defender Matt Partridge missed that game with a knee problem but has been given the all-clear after a scan and could return. Midfielder Yan Klukowski (hamstring) and winger Nathan Ralph (cheekbone) might also come back in.
On-loan Cardiff defender Jazzi Barnum-Bobb will be assessed after leaving the field against Barnet with a hamstring injury.
Plymouth's once lengthy injury list showed further signs of improvement on Boxing Day as striker Reuben Reid (hip) and midfielder Josh Simpson (hamstring) returned to action.
The pair both came on as substitutes late in the second half as the Pilgrims beat Yeovil 1-0 to move two points clear at the top.
Forward Deane Smalley, who recently returned from a 12-month lay-off with a knee injury, was an unused substitute.
Midfield pair Hiram Boateng (ankle) and Graham Carey (knee) remain on the sidelines.
