Bolton Wanderers vs Blackburn Rovers - Emile Heskey a major doubt for Bolton's home clash with Blackburn

Emile Heskey is a major doubt for beleaguered Bolton's home clash with Blackburn at the Macron Stadium.
The 37-year-old, who scored against Rovers on his debut in this fixture last December, came off against Rotherham with what appeared to be a hamstring injury on a day when bottom-of-the-table Wanderers were thrashed 4-0.
Shola Ameobi (groin), Mark Davies and Josh Vela (both knee) all missed that contest and will be doubtful again, with boss Neil Lennon confirming Cardiff have enquired about the latter ahead of the January transfer window.
Wellington Silva (hamstring) did make his return as a substitute at Rotherham, though, but Max Clayton (hamstring) is a long-term absentee.
Blackburn's Boxing Day clash with Middlesbrough was postponed, meaning they have had extra time to get ready for this trip.
Midfielder Corry Evans was struggling to make Boro's visit to Ewood Park because of a groin strain but has a better chance of declaring his fitness for this derby encounter.
Jason Lowe (foot) is Blackburn's only long-term absentee and Paul Lambert may consider changes after suffering his first defeat in charge at Reading on December 20.
Leicester loanee Tom Lawrence, whose deal with the east Lancashire club expires in early January, could be among those considered.
