Bristol City vs Charlton Athletic: Bristol City sweating on Kieran Agard for Charlton clash
Posted Thursday, December 24, 2015 by PA
Striker Kieran Agard is in danger of missing Bristol City's Boxing Day clash with fellow Sky Bet Championship strugglers Charlton.
Agard pulled up with a calf strain in training last week and had to sit out the 1-1 home draw with QPR.
Nine-goal top scorer Jonathan Kodjia and Aaron Wilbraham are set to spearhead the attack with Simon Cox, who has yet to start a game for the Robins since signing on loan from Reading in October, providing striking back-up on the bench.
Midfielder Bobby Reid could be in contention to start after impressing and scoring in City's FA Development League victory over Watford in midweek.
Charlton defender Patrick Bauer could miss out at Ashton Gate.
Bauer was forced off with an abdominal injury in Saturday's 4-0 defeat by Burnley and is doubt.
Forward Ricardo Vaz Te has a groin problem and may also miss the game.
Striker Ademola Lookman, reportedly a target for Liverpool, has a hamstring injury but could return in time.
