Crawley Town vs Stevenage Borough - Crawley forced into one change after Rhys Murphy returns to Oldham

Posted Wednesday, December 23, 2015 by PA

Boss Mark Yates will make at least one change when Crawley take on Stevenage on Boxing Day.

Striker Rhys Murphy has returned to parent club Oldham following the end of his loan spell, so forwards Lee Barnard, Shamir Fenelon and Roarie Deacon will be vying for a place in the starting XI.

Crawley have no new injury or suspensions to contend with but Lanre Oyebanjo and Joe McNerney remain sidelined.

The Reds will be hoping to bounce back from their 4-2 defeat to Barnet last time out.

Loanee Jamille Matt could return for Stevenage after missing the home draw against Accrington last week.

The forward, on loan from Fleetwood, did not feature in Teddy Sheringham's squad due to a knock but will push for a start.

Dean Wells is fighting to be fit after injury ruled him out last weekend.

Fraser Franks (knee) and Dean Parrett (hamstring) are both recovering from injury and will remain sidelined.
