Peterborough United vs Chesterfield - Callum Elder injury blow for Peterborough

Peterborough's injury problems have grown with the loss of Callum Elder ahead of their Boxing Day clash with Chesterfield.
The on-loan Australian full-back has returned to his parent club Leicester after being forced off early in last week's loss to Blackpool. Replacement Kgosi Ntlhe also remains sidelined, leaving Andrew Fox as the likely deputy.
Jermaine Anderson and Joe Gormley (both knee) are long-term absentees while Gabriel Zakuani (foot) is also out and Shaun Brisley may not be ready to return from a knee problem.
Defender Miles Addison has extended his short-term contract with Posh for a second month.
Chesterfield will be without Drew Talbot at the ABAX Stadium but goalkeeper Tommy Lee is expected to be fit.
Both players suffered hamstring injuries during the defeat to Bradford, with Talbot's problem set to rule the full-back out for two weeks.
Forward Lee Novak (thigh) and central defender Richard Wood are expected to be back in the squad after injury as the managerless Spireites look to halt a six-match losing run in League One which has left them just two points above the relegation zone.
Chris Herd is back training after injury and illness and he could be involved.
