Raith Rovers vs Alloa Athletic - Raith without Lewis Toshney and Grant Anderson against Alloa

Raith manager Ray McKinnon has added Lewis Toshney and Grant Anderson to his absentee list ahead of the visit of Alloa.

Both players have suffered from a recurrence of hamstring trouble while injuries continue to rule out Craig Barr (groin), Jason Thomson (back) and Lewis Vaughan (knee).

McKinnon said: "We also have players battling through games with injuries so it is not ideal but the spirit is great and that helped us defeat Morton 2-1 last week.

"This game will not be easy as Jack Ross will have had a full week at Alloa to get his view across over how he wants his side to play."

Ross, recently appointed Alloa boss, has fitness doubts over Jason Marr, Graeme Holmes and Michael Chopra.

Ross is looking to build on a promising display in the 2-0 defeat to St Mirren in his first game in charge last weekend.

He said: "There was more to be pleased about in that game than be disappointed with. The one area I am looking for improvement in is in the final third where I feel we could be a bit more creative.

"If we go to Raith and play like we did last weekend and show a more attacking edge then we can get something in this game."
