Rotherham United vs Bolton Wanderers - Rotherham wait on Stephen Kelly and Leon Best ahead of Bolton clash

Rotherham will hope to have Stephen Kelly and Leon Best available for the Boxing Day clash at the foot of the Sky Bet Championship with Bolton.

Kelly came off at half-time in last weekend's win over Hull after his calf injury tightened up while Best has not featured since his debut at Leeds in November following a three-match suspension and a subsequent groin injury.

Boss Neil Redfearn said at the beginning of the week he expects both men to be fit, with Kelly taken off as a precaution and Best having injections to manage his problem.

Redfearn will be pushed into one change, though, as on-loan midfielder Luke Hyam has been recalled by parent club Ipswich.

Neil Lennon will take charge of Bolton in South Yorkshire.

Wanderers announced on Tuesday the Northern Irishman would remain in his post after they concluded an internal investigation into allegations made in the Sunday Mirror.

He may be without Josh Vela (knee) again as he did not train earlier this week while Shola Ameobi (groin) is only doing light running and Max Clayton (hamstring) is a long-term absentee.

However, Emile Heskey has recovered from a virus and Arsenal loanee Wellington Silva (hamstring) is back in full training and could make his return.
