Bradford AFC vs Burton Albion FC - Bradford boss Phil Parkinson ponders changes for Burton clash
Posted Wednesday, December 23, 2015 by PA
Bradford boss Phil Parkinson may decide to rotate his squad for the home game against leaders Burton.
Parkinson, who has no major new injury worries, must decide whether to recall midfielder Billy Knott and left-back James Meredith or stick with Gary Liddle and Greg Leigh respectively.
Strikers Devante Cole, Luke James and Jordan Bowery, plus winger Mark Marshall are all in contention as the Bantams chase a fifth win in seven league matches.
Midfielder Josh Morris, Filipe Morais and fellow winger Paul Anderson (all knee) remain sidelined.
Robbie Weir is expected to be back in the Burton squad after missing the draw against Doncaster with a foot injury.
The midfielder may go straight back into the starting line-up with Albion boss Nigel Clough set to make changes for the two games in three days over the Christmas period.
The likes of Callum Reilly, Lucas Akins, Timmy Thiele, Jerome Binnom-Williams and Matt Palmer are also available for recalls.
Shane Cansdell-Sherriff was back on the bench last weekend after a groin injury but is probably not ready to start yet, while on-loan Wolves winger Zeli Ismail (ankle) is poised to return to Burton next week after receiving treatment back at his parent club.
