SO LONG, FAREWELL: Jose Mourinho said goodbye to his players today
The Daily Mail report that the Portuguese boss returned to give his farewell message to the champions' under-performing stars.
Mourinho was axed after the vast majority of his players finished for the day and left the training ground yesterday.
And the 52-year-old was clearly keen to say goodbye to his former charges.
However, some of the squad snubbed his farewell chat.
Mourinho reminded them what it takes to be winners, packed up his Special One mug and dismantled a life-size cutout of himself.
Guus Hiddink is set to be announced as Chelsea's caretaker manager until the end of the season.
Diego Simeone, Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti are expected to be in the running for the permanent job in the summer.
