Cowdenbeath vs Airdrie United - Sneddon faces race against time to be fit for Cowdenbeath

Cowdenbeath have concerns over the fitness of goalkeeper Jamie Sneddon ahead of the visit of Airdrie to Central Park.

The 18-year-old was injured in last weekend's 1-0 win at Forfar and manager Colin Nish will give him as long as possible to show that he has recovered. Definitely missing for the Blue Brazil is the injured Lewis Milne (knee) and Kyle Miller (foot).

Nish said: "The last time we met Airdrie we were unlucky to lose 3-2. We felt that our performance level turned for the better that day and we have improved ever since.

"This game will tell us how much we have improved."

Airdrie will have Chris O'Neil available after a two-game suspension while striker Jim Lister is pushing to be involved from the start after returning as a substitute last weekend after nine months out with a groin injury.

United manager Gary Bollan said: "We secured a good 3-1 win at a hard venue in Stranraer last weekend and we will need to use the skills we used in that game to win at another hard venue in Central Park.

"Cowdenbeath's form is on the up and their home patch has been difficult for away teams all season so we need to be fully committed from the first whistle."
